Plenty of people in the world get tattoos, and that includes celebrities. But sometimes, the tattoos you get become major regrets!

There’s a breakdown of some of your favorite celebs who totally regret the tattoos they’ve gotten.

Ariana Grande.

When Ariana‘s banger “7 Rings“ became a huge hit among pop music lovers everywhere, she attempted to get “7 Rings” tatted on her palm in Chinese characters. The characters were tattooed incorrectly, and ended up spelling “tiny charcoal grill” instead. She got the tattoo fixed as soon as possible. She also covered up a tattoo she once had in honor of her ex-fiancé, Pete Davidson.

Hailey Bieber.

Hailey is covered in tattoos, even though it might not seem like it at first glance. Many of her tats are super small and located in hidden places. The model actually has more than 20 tattoos in total! She got a gun tattooed on her middle finger when she was 18 years old. When she turned 24, she spoke negatively of the tattoo saying, “As a 24-year-old, I would never do that. I think guns are violent.” She hasn’t actually removed the tattoo, though.

Sarah Hyland.

When people think of Sarah, they often connect her to the quirky character she played on Modern Family. She did choose to get a dinosaur tattoo on her butt cheek in 2017, though. In 2019, she revealed that she was going through the tattoo removal process to get rid of it.

Jessie J.

Jessie got a tattoo of some of her own lyrics on her hip when she was 18 years old, but one of the words was spelled incorrectly. On Instagram, she wrote, “Yes my tattoo says ‘don’t loose who you are in the blur of the stars.’ Yes they are MY lyrics from my song who you are.” Loose is supposed to be lose. She explained that the misspelled tat is why she prefers wearing high waisted pants.

Khloe Kardashian.

When Khloe was 16 years old, she got a tattoo in honor of her late father. It said the word “daddy” with a cross and angel wings below. Khloe later decided she didn’t want to honor her father’s memory with the tattoo and had it removed. She wrote, “I should’ve listened to Kim when she told me you don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.”

Jennifer Lawrence.

Jennifer revealed that there is one tattoo she has that she totally wishes she didn’t. In 2015, she got a playful tattoo with Liam Hemsworth and his family and chose to get “H2O” tatted on her right hand. She complained about the high placement of the 2 to Vogue saying, “I should have Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever.”

Demi Lovato.

Demi opened up about a time she got a regretful tattoo while speaking with Kelly Ripa, explaining that she had an image of her friend’s lips tied onto her forearm. She described it as “a spur-of-the-moment stupid decision.” She later covered it up with two intricately designed roses.

Megan Fox.

Megan spoke highly of Marilyn Monroe saying that she empathized with the legendary icon. But later, Megan changed her mind about the Marilyn facial portrait she had on her forearm. Megan said, “She was a negative person, she was disturbed, bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life.”

Hayden Panettiere.

Hayden’s attempt to get the words “Live without regrets“ tatted in Italian on her back went completely wrong. The third word was spelled with an extra i throwing off the end results. In 2013, Daily Mail reported that she was in the process of getting the tattoo removed.

Nicki Minaj.

People love Nicki for her rap music, but what about her tattoos? When she was 16, she got a tattoo that said “God is with me always” in Chinese characters. She later spoke about her regret getting the tattoo with Elle Australia, saying, “You have no idea what you want to put on your body at the age of 16. You need to wait until at least 21 and decide.”
