Is there any other show that’s more chaotic than Pretty Little Liars? The thrilling mystery series lasted for seven season starting in 2010.

Plenty of people were wrapped up in the drama of it all after reading the novel series of the same name written by author Sarah Shepherd.

Interestingly enough, Ashley Tisdale had a chance to star in Pretty Little Liars, but she chose not to.

If she’d accepted the role in the show, she could’ve replaced one of the leading ladies! Here’s what went down.

Ashley Tisdale turned down ‘Pretty Little Liars’ for another opportunity

The timing just wasn’t right for Ashley to agree to a role in Pretty Little Liars. According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, she decided to star in a different show called Hellcats instead.

She wasn’t sure which show was going to be a hit – and she ultimately made the wrong decision.

Hellcats got canceled after one season, while Pretty Little Liars went on to be much more of a success.

Ashley‘s decision to pass on Pretty Little Liars hasn’t necessarily impacted her career in a big way.

She is still a beloved actress who will always be known for her unforgettable roles in the High School Musical movies and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody on Disney Channel.

If Ashley had agreed to star in Pretty Little Liars, it’s unclear which role she would have landed.

It’s possible she would’ve replaced Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery, Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin, Shay Mitchell as Emily Fields, or Troian Bellisario as Spencer Hastings.

It’s also possible she could’ve replaced Sasha Pieterse as Allison DeLaurentis.
