Beauty trends that are blowing up in 2024
Fresha notes that people have been searching terms like “clean girl,” “glowy skin,” “glass skin,” and “Korean skincare” more than ever lately. Glowy skin alone has soared by 178% over the last week!
Unless you’re living under a rock, you’ve probably seen the #CleanGirl hashtag making its rounds on social media apps like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
More than 206 million views have accumulated for that particular hashtag within the United States. Globally, more than 8 billion views have racked up.
It’s not surprising that social media users are looking up to famous people like Hailey and Kylie for inspiration regarding their outward appearance.
Hailey currently has more than 50.8 million followers on Instagram while Kylie has more than 389 million followers on Instagram.
Hailey and Kylie both sell beauty products to fans who look up to them. Hailey runs Rhode Skin, a brand full of skincare products.
Kylie runs Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin, which focuses on makeup and skincare as well.
When it comes to a search like “Korean skincare” Fresha says the term is exploding by 250% and has reached an all-time high within the last few years.
