There’s much to love about Millie Bobby Brown ever since she splashed onto the scene as an actress.

She is currently married to Jake Bongiovi and their relationship seems to be stronger than ever! Here are some gems of relationship advice straight from Millie.

First, choose a partner who helps you fall in love with yourself.

Dating someone you’re in love with is one thing, but choosing a partner who helps you love yourself more is something completely different!

According to People, Millie spoke highly of her husband saying, “When I met Jake, I just felt I could be loud. He embraced that and encouraged that. And I fell in love with myself while being with him.”

Second, always follow your gut.

According to Brainy Quote, Millie once said, “I go by my instincts. It’s whatever I feel in the scene in the moment.”

This is especially important when it comes to romantic relationships. If something feels a bit off to you, listen to those feelings without suppressing or ignoring them.

Third, keep your relationship private to protect its sanctity.

In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Millie said, “There are only so many moments in life that you get only once. And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me. So I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest.

At the time, she was specifically discussing the process of wedding planning, but her advice can be used regarding all aspects of a romantic relationship.

Fourth, remember that meeting your soulmate is something that may happen at random.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Millie said, “You can’t pinpoint why [someone is ‘the one’], it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.”

This is a great reminder for anyone on the lookout for their perfect match at the moment.

Fifth and finally, select a partner that gives you a break from overthinking.

Too often, people end up with partners who stress them out unnecessarily.

In that same interview with The Sunday Times, Millie said, “I think so much of life is overthinking. The one thing that made clear sense to me was him. So I didn’t really have to do much thinking.”

Selecting a partner that allows you to mentally rest every once in a while is so crucial!
