Before booking a trip somewhere new, it’s a smart idea to find out how much money you might end up spending on food.

The team at SumUp conducted a study to narrow down the most affordable places to get a bite to eat across the USA. Here’s what they uncovered.

El Paso is the most affordable city to eat

According to SumUp, El Paso is the number one most affordable city in the USA to purchase delicious food.

On average, you can find a solo meal for $11, a three-course meal for two for $65, a cup of coffee for $3.67, and a domestic beer for $3.50.

Las Vegas lands in sixth place on SumUp‘s list since you can find a $20 solo meal there along with a $75 three-course meal for two. Coffee in Las Vegas will cost you $5.43 and a beer will cost you $5.

Denver also landed on SumUp‘s list in 12th place. Just like in Las Vegas, a solo meal there will run you $20.

A three-course meal for two will be $80, a coffee will be $5.48, and a domestic beer will be $6.
