You can admire all the pretty sights and scenic views on Catalina Island as another pastime while you’re there. Some of the things you may see include a mermaid sculptures in the sand, birds of paradise flowers, trees carved up with initials of Catalina Island visitors, and motivational quotes about reaching your fullest potential.

Green Pleasure Pier is the long green-colored Pier on Catalina Island. It’s impossible to miss it! You can walk down the pier to go fishing or to sign up for different boating excursions.
Don’t forget to book your Express ferry ride to get to and from the island. Catalina Island does not have its own airport, which means you have to take a ferry ride to get to it. The ferry ride typically lasts for about an hour if there aren’t any other stops along the way.
