According to Centus, here are the details on the demand for digital nomad jobs and the way it spiked following the 2024 election.

Searches for digital nomad career paths exploded by 170% during the 2024 election.

It looks like there are tons of Americans who would like to figure out how they can continue earning money while living somewhere else… far away from America’s current political climate.

Georgia happens to be the state with the most individuals who started searching for digital nomad jobs, followed by North Carolina in second place.

Florida residents are also interested, and they’ve landed in third place.

People living in South Carolina are also incredibly interested, and they’ve landed in fourth place.

Tennessee also lands in the top five list for being super interested in digital nomad roles and positions.

Henry Simmons, CEO of Centus, commented on the findings saying, “Investigating the search volume data of each US state is fascinating as it reveals the populations that are most seeking a new opportunity. Interestingly, the search volume for ‘Amazon work from home’ was the highest for every state, revealing its popularity.

“With a lower volume of specific searches for digital nomad opportunities, perhaps this type of work seems unrealistic and difficult to achieve, rather than work from home jobs.”
