Let’s get started on hypothetically planning Ariana Grande’s wedding to Ethan Slater. Who knows where their relationship is heading, but if it heads towards marriage, who would she choose to be her bridesmaids?

We’ve got an idea of some girls who would be awesome as bridesmaids for Ariana, and some girls we don’t picture Ariana ever choosing.

Bridesmaid pick: Elizabeth Gillies.

Ariana and Elizabeth have been close friends since filming Victorious on Nickelodeon. Their tight-knit friendship has always been inspiring to see, which is why we believe Ariana would totally choose Elizabeth to be one of her bridesmaids.

Not a bridesmaid pick: Jennette McCurdy.

Ariana and Jennette definitely didn’t get along with filming Sam & Cat on Nickelodeon. Jennette made that abundantly clear when she wrote about her experience working as Ariana’s co-star in her autobiography. Ariana most certainly wouldn’t choose Jennette to be one of her bridesmaids due to all that drama.

Bridesmaid pick: Miley Cyrus.

The friendship between Ariana and Miley is amazing! They have such an awesome connection, and they’ve even performed duets live on stage together. Seeing Miley, as one of Ariana’s bridesmaids wouldn’t come as a surprise at all.

Not a bridesmaid pick: Victoria Justice.

Although Ariana and Victoria have spoken up about how they do not have an ongoing feud any time they’ve had opportunities in interviews, it still doesn’t seem like there was ever a genuine friendship connection between them. They might deny feud rumors, but the fact that they’ve literally never been spotted hanging out together after Victorious came to an end speaks volumes. Victoria likely wouldn’t be picked as a bridesmaid.

Bridesmaid pick: Camila Cabello.

Ariana and Camila have one of the best Hollywood friendships ever. They have a lot in common because they both know how to sing their hearts out! Fans have been supportive of their friendship since it started in 2013 after they first met each other at the Radio Disney Music Awards.

Not a bridesmaid pick: Jhené Aiko.

There’s no shot that Ariana would invite Jhené to be one of her bridesmaids, and that’s because Ariana used to date Big Sean. Big Sean is currently in a long-lasting relationship with Jhené, and it’s been rumored that both Ariana and Jhené have released diss tracks against each other in the past. Many believe that Ariana’s song “Breakup With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” is about Jhené. Others believe that Jhené’s song “None of Your Concern” is about Ariana.

Bridesmaid pick: Nicki Minaj.

It would be fabulous to see Nicki as one of Ariana’s bridesmaids since the talented artists collaborate so well together in the music studio. It makes sense that they would collaborate well regarding wedding plans too! “Side to Side” is proof that these beauties know how to vibe.

Not a bridesmaid pick: Cazzie David.

The reason Ariana would never choose Cazzie to be one of her bridesmaids stems back to their drama revolving Pete Davidson. Ariana started dating Pete while he was on the tail end of his relationship with Cazzie. Cazzie opened up about the heartbreak in a book of scathing essays. One quote from Cazzie says, “The fact that people were talking about me at all, let alone talking about me being dumped on such a large scale, was a nightmare my psyche was not equipped to handle.”

Bridesmaid pick: Lea Michele.

Ariana and Lea have been friends with each other for a long time and Lea has often hyped Ariana up in her social media posts. There’s a chance Lea would be invited to serve as a bridesmaid choice for someone like Ariana.

Not a bridesmaid pick: Lilly Jay.

Last but not least, it’s pretty obvious that Ariana would NEVER ask Lilly to be a bridesmaid in her wedding to Ethan. That’s because rumor has it, Lilly‘s marriage to Ethan fell apart after he fell in love with Ariana. Although Ariana has done her part to clear up these rumors by noting that there wasn’t any overlap, Lilly spoke negatively about Ariana at one point saying that she wasn’t “a girl’s girl.”
