Now that Christmas is almost here, people are doing their best to figure out how they want to spend the holiday season.

Christmas is known for being one of the most enchanting holidays since it’s a time when families unite and come together.

Deluxe Holiday Homes conducted a study to figure out which cities in America go above and beyond with their Christmas decorations.

Here’s what they dug up.

American cities that do the MOST for Christmas

Is it all that shocking that New York City comes in first place?

More than 1.4 million Google searches about New York City Christmas decorations and Christmas lights have been logged.

There are also 840 Christmas events that take place in New York City every year.

Other cities on this list like Chicago, Nashville, Dallas, and Seattle certainly fit the bill for being pleasant places to celebrate a holiday like Christmas.

Las Vegas is an interesting addition to this list since a lot of people associate Sin City with nightclubs and casinos.

However, it’s still clearly a wonderful place to celebrate the holidays. The Bellagio Conservatory offers a holiday display, you can admire Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and there are two locations to enjoy Enchant holiday experience –– the Ballpark and Resorts World.

Boston, Denver, Atlanta, and Charleston all made the top 10 list as well with thousands of Google searches and Instagram hashtags.

There are also hundreds of Christmas events to attend in all of these cities.
