I recently spent the day at Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa’s day pool with my husband.
As a Las Vegas local who lives on the Summerlin side of town, it was exactly what we needed for the day.
It’s the ultimate destination for a blissful daycation. Here’s what my personal experience spending a day there was like.
Red Rock day pool details
My husband and I got a standard day bed for the two of us, and it was lovely.
The umbrella didn’t offer much shade at the start of the day based on the sun’s placement in the sky, but over the next couple of hours, the umbrella’s placement was fabulous.
We arrived at like 9:30 am and stayed until about 12:30 pm.

My husband and I work from home, so we took our laptops to the pool to get some articles written before ordering lunch and taking a dip into one of the hot tubs.
There’s free Wi-Fi connection throughout the property, so getting our work done was a breeze.
When it was time to eat, we ordered an array of food including two mocktails, a four-piece club sandwich, a pile of French fries, 12 pieces of sushi, a large Cobb salad, and a whipped pineapple dessert.
I’ll admit that the food wasn’t exactly cheap. Including tip, the bill came out to about $125 – but we did get A LOT of food, and it all tasted delicious.
After eating, we lounged in the hot tub closest to our day bed with the jets turned on.
My shoulders and back have been tense for a couple of weeks, so that moment of relaxation was much appreciated.
There are multiple hot tubs and smaller-sized pools surrounding the main pool in the center.
The center pool is the biggest of all with a huge fountain as the focal point. There are also lifeguards stationed in multiple positions for the safety of guests.
You don’t have to worry about packing a towel either, by the way. Towel service is offered.
Our cocktail waitress was lovely and sweet. She answered all our questions about the menu items and she checked on us frequently.
Overall, I’d rate the experience highly because it was so pleasant to be there on a fabulous day with great weather.
My husband and I have agreed to do another visit to Red Rock’s day pool soon.
