Which emojis do you use on your dating app profile? It turns out that some emojis are far more common than others.
A research study done by DKCasinoSpot just revealed which emojis are most likely to be found while swiping through Tinder.
Common emojis on Tinder

The male shrug emoji comes in first place after it was found on 1,367 different profiles. In second place, you’ll find the typical red heart emoji. It was spotted on 777 profiles.
After that, the female shrugger, the camera with a flash, the airplane, and the crying laughing face are all runner-ups.
The ghost emoji, silly tongue face emoji, black flag, and martini glass finish out the entire top 10 list.
According to DKCasinoSpot, women are 41% more likely to use emojis in their Tinder bios compared to men. That’s not to say men aren’t using them when they’re comfortable enough to do so, though.
Since emojis are used to convey emotion, describe your job, and showcase your favorite hobbies, it makes sense to use them on your dating app profile without shame.
A DKCasinoSpot rep said, “In the evolving landscape of modern dating, emojis have become the unsung heroes of communication on platforms like Tinder, injecting nuance, humor, and a dash of personality into the otherwise text-centric conversations.
“No longer confined to just words, users are embracing this visual language to express sentiments that might be challenging to capture with mere letters.
“From the playful wink to the heart-eyed smiley, emojis on Tinder serve as shorthand for complex emotions, enabling users to flirt, convey interest, or inject light-heartedness into their interactions.”
