Like most liberal voters, I briefly had a guilty conscience over the idea of cutting off my Tr*mp supporting friends and family members.

But all of that went out the window when I realized I voted on the side of love for all people, respect for mankind, and general humanity.

Conservative voters voted in alignment with the KKK. They voted in alignment with Nazis.

They voted for a proven sexual abuser, who also happens to be a convicted felon and a bigot.

When I think about these things, it makes it easy to feel confident in my decision to cut Tr*mp supporters out of my life completely.

Cutting out people who lack empathy

The most disturbing detail about Tr*mp supporters is that they often hide behind the guise of following Christian/Catholic beliefs – their biblical way of thinking.

In reality, Jesus himself was an immigrant who loved ALL people, regardless of their differences.

The way Jesus loved others isn’t even slightly comparable to the way Tr*mp supporters treat people.

It’s abundantly clear that Tr*mp supporters are fueled by hatred. They lack empathy for anyone who isn’t like them. Plain and simple.

They can’t stand the idea of other people living lives that look differently from what they deem “acceptable.”

When Jesus walked the Earth, he left it up to everyone if they wanted to follow him or not.

He never forced himself or his beliefs on anyone.

As a Christian myself, I understand and appreciate the fact that God gives us free will to follow Him.

So, why do Christian Tr*mp supporters think it’s acceptable to force their beliefs on people around them?

Just because YOU don’t want to be part of the LGBTQ community, why do YOU get to control if someone else is?

Just because YOU don’t think a woman should have the right to choose what to do with her body, why do YOU get to control what happens at her doctor’s appointment?

Why are Tr*mp supporters so involved in other people’s life choices? It’s giving busy-body energy.

It’s giving… your life is so unfulfilled and uneventful that you HAVE to focus on other people you disapprove of so you can feel better about yourself.

Liberal voters are about progressive thinking. Moving forward. The LIBERATION of humanity.

Conservative voters are heavily crippling weights that drag us all down, sinking us and drowning us so we can never make progress or move forward.

The ugly reality of America right now

Tr*mp’s executive order to prepare a migrant detention center at Guantánamo Bay is disturbingly reminiscent of concentration camps that once existed in retaliation against Jewish people.

His removal of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) has also been quite jarring. His plan is to remove it from the military and from businesses across the nation. It’s just another racist and sexist blow to swallow.

Tr*mp ordered a review of FEMA (the Federal Emergency Management Agency), which is used to send money in response to natural disasters throughout America. He thinks it’s wasteful, but when natural disasters like hurricanes, earthquakes, and tornadoes happen regularly in America, utilizing FEMA shouldn’t be a debate.

Tr*mp has called to end birthright citizenship, which happens to be something written in the Constitution. It’s his way of targeting people who were born on American soil, if their parents were undocumented at the time of their birth. If he gets his way in editing the Constitution, the preservation of democracy might not exist.

He’s frozen refugee admissions, which means people who were desperately seeking asylum in America from their own dangerous home countries are now completely out of luck.

He’s working to pull America out of the World Health Organization because he’s unhappy with how WHO handled the COVID-19 pandemic. We can all admit that wearing masks was annoying AF in 2020, but being opted out of WHO means losing access to necessary knowledge needed to prevent the spread of new diseases in the future.

Tr*mp pardoned January 6th defendants, including some who were violent. This one isn’t great news for the Blue Lives Matter group since many police officers were attacked on that diabolical day.

The Trump Administration reinstated a policy to restrict abortion access worldwide. Women will absolutely die because of this. Some abortion care is needed to preserve the life of the mother. Millennial and Gen-Z women are collectively deciding to opt out of pregnancies altogether knowing we probably won’t be saved in the case of an emergency. The actively declining birthrights in America are proof.

He’s withdrawn America from the Paris Climate Agreement because he doesn’t care to acknowledge climate change. America’s environmental future hangs in the balance because of this. The rest of the world will be impacted also since high emissions coming from America have been overwhelming to our planet for a VERY long time now.

Trump called for the firing of David Pekoske, the administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). And he called for the elimination of The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). That’s the group that keeps flights and airplanes safe following the 9/11 attacks…

There’s a lot more I haven’t listed because I feel like this article will go on forever. This presidency is problematic, to say the least.

But maybe worst of all is that Tr*mp‘s presidency has emboldened people who were already racist and sexist.

It’s given these people a deeper feeling of superiority, making them feel like they have a leg to stand on.

They now aggressively believe they can be more outspoken with their vitriol than ever before.

So, again, I don’t have a problem cutting off Tr*mp supporter friends and family members.

I’m also teetering on the idea of cutting off anyone who is trying to remain neutral and play the fence.

Because if you don’t STAND for anything, then you’re part of the problem.

If you aren’t willing to fight on the side of justice, love, and equality, then it means you’re cosigning all those evil alternatives.

It’s pointless to try and have conversations with Tr*mp supporters, by the way. Most of the time, they lack self-awareness.

They function based on their own selfish needs without any regard for their fellow brothers and sisters.

It’s not worth it arguing with people who lack critical thinking or depth.

It’s best to disengage by revoking their access altogether.

The “Tolerant Left” is done tolerating despicable bullsh*t from Tr*mp supporters. We’re not tolerating this anymore. Myself included.
