Ever since Tr*mp‘s inauguration, people have been more interested than ever in remote work options.

Folks are trying to figure out how they can become digital nomads, and they’re doing so in record numbers.

According to Centus, the stats are a bit jarring when it comes to Americans who are seeking life far away from Tr*mp‘s presidency.

Digital nomad visas are equivalent to gold in 2025

According to Centus, Google searches for digital nomad visas surged by 145% after Tr*mp‘s inauguration.

People are extremely interested in figuring out how to create a life for themselves somewhere else, outside of the USA.

The report states that Georgia is the state with the highest interest in this topic based on their Google searches.

Almost 400,000 monthly searches relating to digital nomad lifestyles have been logged in Georgia alone.

Interestingly enough, the state of Georgia leans in a Republican direction.

Why are red voters so interested in getting out of there? Kind of weird.

North Carolina comes in second place with more than 330,000 Google searches on this topic.

In third place, people in Florida are curious to uncover details about digital nomad lifestyles as well.

Out of 100,000 people, more than 3000 people have been doing their research about moving out of the USA with a source of income.

“Investigating the search volume data of each U.S. state is fascinating as it reveals the populations that are most seeking a new opportunity.

“Interestingly, the search volume for ‘Amazon work from home’ was the highest for every state, revealing its popularity. 

“With a lower volume of specific searches for digital nomad opportunities, perhaps this type of work seems unrealistic and difficult to achieve, rather than work from home jobs.”
