According to the sex education experts at Joy Love Dolls, there are five top-tier workouts to try that can help you feel more excited about having fun in the bedroom.

Cardio – straight up

Plenty of people dismiss cardio in the gym because it can be incredibly difficult to get through.

However, cardio should definitely be on your radar if you’re thinking about boosting your sex drive.

Some examples include running on the treadmill or climbing the stairmaster. Joy Love Dolls suggests cardio workouts two to three times a week.

Yoga

“However, if this issue is left unaddressed, it can easily cause issues in intimacy and communication.  

“For many, Christmas can be a stressful time, which is why it’s so important for couples to spend some quality time together over the next few busy weeks.  

“As well as improving both your mental and physical health, exercise is also a fantastic way to get your libido back on track, which is why starting up a new exercise routine can be extremely beneficial in relationships.  

“Making changes in your diet can also effectively improve your sex drive. Incorporating certain foods, such as lean proteins, nuts, and avocados, into your daily diet can be a fantastic way of regulating hormones and reducing blood pressure. 

“While the festive period is often associated with drinking, it may be worthwhile to cut back on alcohol over the next few weeks to improve your sex drive.

“Heavy drinking can often reduce levels of testosterone, which is why participating in Dry January can be an effective way to boost libido.”
