According to Centus, the residents living in Georgia are the most interested in digital nomad lifestyles compared to residents in any other state.

On average, more than 390,000 people there have searched job-hunting keywords pertaining to digital nomad lifestyles each month.

If you thought California or New York would land on this list, you’re actually mistaken!

One of the reasons for this might be the fact that people who live in places like California and New York typically already believe they’re in the ideal destination.

Therefore, they’re not interested in seeking out the freedom and flexibility of a digital nomad lifestyle since they’re happy to stay exactly where they are.

Henry Simmons, CEO of Centus, commented on the findings saying, “Investigating the search volume data of each U.S. state is fascinating as it reveals the populations that are most seeking a new opportunity. Interestingly, the search volume for ‘Amazon work from home’ was the highest for every state, revealing its popularity. 

“With a lower volume of specific searches for digital nomad opportunities, perhaps this type of work seems unrealistic and difficult to achieve, rather than work from home jobs.”
