Life’s hardly ever about making drastic leaps in our behaviors but small baby steps that culminate to form the bigger picture.

As a matter of fact, most people don’t feel comfortable transitioning from a poor habit to a better habit overnight.

But when we employ James strategy of 1% we can go from someone who wakes up at 10 a.m to 6:30 am.

Gradually is the keyword.

So, what are these tiny habits that almost seem insignificant but can greatly improve the quality of your life?

Most of these aren’t new to your ears, just easy to ignore or forget:

  • Wake up at a reasonable hour that allows you to take control of your day.
  • Write at least 3 things you’re grateful for in the morning.
  • Drink water before anything else in the morning.
  • Exercise for at least 180 minutes each week, be it walking, swimming, etc.
  • Read at least 10 pages a day of fiction or non-fiction books, digital or paperback.
  • Gradually cut back on screen time.
  • Write down 3 wins each day.
  • Practice Affirmations.
  • Cut back on processed sugars and excessive carb consumption.
  • Journal every day, even if it’s a line or 2.
  • Create a to-do list the previous night.

Each of these tiny habits plays a significant role in improving the quality of your life when practiced progressively.

You will begin to feel and look better once you start paying attention to your atomic habits.
