Things in Drake‘s life haven’t been moving in a positive direction ever since his beef with Kendrick Lamar blasted off.
Kendrick has bulldozed through Drake‘s reputation by accusing him of being attracted to underage girls.
Although Drake has still been performing in concerts and posting on social media, it sort of feels like he’s been in hiding waiting for all this drama to blow over.
However, in the midst of all this chaos, he’s got a new song coming out with Sexyy Red. There’s what you should know.
Drake and Sexyy Red’s collaboration
On February 11, Drake posted a picture on Instagram of himself with Sexyy to promote an upcoming song they’re releasing.
In the shot, both rappers are dressed up in fuzzy full body fits hanging out in the snow in front of futuristic-looking buildings.
In the corner of the pic, you’ll notice a “parental advisory explicit content” warning.
The content warning is to be expected since a lot of songs from Sexyy include highly edgy lyrics.
Sexyy also posted the shot on February 14 to let everyone know she was on the same page with Drake about their new song.
Will this new track distract everyone from Drake‘s feud with Kendrick? As of now, that’s unclear.
Kendrick had a field day dragging Drake during the 2025 Super Bowl not long ago. He also won multiple Grammy awards for the diss track he released about Drake called “Not Like Us.”
Things haven’t been looking good for Drake, but there’s a chance his new song with Sexyy will start turning things around for him.
