A study done by QR Code Generator just revealed where some of the most toxic and unhappy couples are located in America right now.

Unfortunately, these couples are genuinely struggling when it comes to making it work!

New Jersey has the most toxic couples

The analysis states that out of every 100,000 people, a little more than 166 of them have searched for “divorce lawyers near me” or “couples therapist.”

When couples are searching for divorce lawyers, it often means they’re already on the brink and ready to call it quits for good.

Couples who are looking for therapy have a little more hope because it means they might be willing to work it out.

New York has the second most toxic couples

Right after New Jersey, you’ll find New York as a second state with tons of toxic couples currently living there.

Out of every 100,000 residents, a little more than 161 of them have been searching for terms relating to ending their marriages.

One of the common terms googled in New York is “How much does a divorce cost?” Yikes.

“It appears East Coast couples are giving up on their relationships before seeking help through couples’ therapy. This could suggest a therapy stigma exists in the region; perhaps divorce is an easier option for many.”
