Btw: This advice does not replace medical advice in cases of depression, loss, and grief but only mild aggravation.

Step aside…

When you feel pissed or overwhelmed the best thing you can do is to step aside from that situation if possible.

Move around, go outside or to the bathroom, and catch a freaking breath.

Shake or scream…

Shake a body part or even kick the air with a leg or punch the air. We clarify the air. Jump if you feel like it.

Scream out LOUD if you can.

And quit acting like we haven’t all done possessed movements while furious.

Write it all down…

We advise that you frantically write your feelings down without filtering them.

You can do this on a piece of paper or your phone notes.

After you are done, crumple that piece of paper burn it, or trash that photo note

Acknowledge it then let it pass.

Try breathwork…

Controlled breathing is amazing for anxiety/anger. We recommend breathing in for 4, holding it for 4, and exhaling for 6.

The next time you feel yourself getting in a negative space because you’re frustrated, angry, or anxious, try these simple steps.
