The question of whether Christianity allows the use of the Law of Attraction (LoA is a controversial topic in this community.

How controversial you may ask?

When you search for this on Google, the results will leave you confused; some people claim that the LoA is some sort of cult forbidden by the Bible.

Mainly because the LoA accredits power to the mere human mind and establishes the universe as the source instead of God.

Other Christians claim that there are bible verses that can be interpreted as the use of positive thoughts and words in prayer.

Here’s our take it’s all about perspective.

We believe that you can use the Law of Attraction as a Christian without going against old and new-age biblical teachings.

We have done it.

But before we get to that let’s take a look at a few bible verses that can represent the principles of alignment.

Bible verses about alignment

  • “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7, NIV)
  • “The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruits.” (proverbs 18:21, NIV)
  • “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24, NIV)

How to use LoA as a Christian

Address God and not the universe

Instead of treating the universe as a source, which you clearly know isn’t as a Christian.

Ask God, the creator of all, to grant you the desires of your heart.

Isn’t that what prayer is all about.

Be grateful

The LoA is huge on high vibrational feelings like gratitude, and so is the bible. That is why our ancestors gave sacrifices, and we tithe and support charity causes.

Learn to be grateful for what God has provided you in prayer and actions.

Understand that God gave us mental abilities

As we mentioned many Christians have contested that LoA is a way of granting the human mind spiritual powers that don’t exist in the mere human.

But picture all the things that humanity has been able to achieve going to the moon, advanced medicine that saves lives and so many things.

It all started with a thought.

And guess who planted that thought? Countless thoughts?

Right, God.

With that said …

Truth is the LoA vs Christianity controversy is not going anywhere but your perspective is moldable.

Ultimately you get to decide whether you think God wants you to live a happy and authentic life where your desires can manifest.
