Selena Gomez‘s new album is truly giving Lana Del Rey –– 100%.

I just spent the last hour listening to songs from Selena‘s new album since she released the official lyric videos on her YouTube page.

Is it Selena or Lana?!

First and foremost, “How Does it Feel to Be Forgotten” is the ultimate F you song to Justin Bieber.

Her other song “Don’t Take it Personally” thoroughly reminded me of Lana’s lyrical energy.

I also want to touch on her song “Younger and Hotter Than Me.” Those of us millennial girls can fully resonate with this song!

I’m personally about to turn 30 and I grew up with Selena just a few years ahead of me watching her go through everything she’s been through.

I truly feel like she has become the most relatable version of herself right now.

Which I know is extremely odd to say since she’s a billionaire and she’s hardly relatable when it comes to her financial status.

However, when it comes to her self-concept, her self-perception, her level of self-love, etc, I feel like she just really gets it.

And this album really exemplifies that.

Again, the Lana Del Rey vibes I’m getting are extreme, which I love because I am the biggest Lana stan of all time.

Selena’s new songs are giving “Say Yes to Heaven,” “West Coast,” “Cinnamon Girl,” “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” energy –– and it is absolutely incredible.

Do you think Selena’s new songs sound like music straight from Lana’s discography? Let us know in the comment section below.
