Benny and Selena almost broke up

According to Rolling Stone, things between Selena and Benny weren’t always perfect at the very beginning.

They sat down for a joint interview and revealed a lot of details about their private life.

When talking about their decision to keep their relationship under wraps at the beginning, Benny said, “I definitely tried to keep it private for a while, because it’s a lot.”

He went on to say, “I remember us having a conversation about whether we were going to keep dating or not. We just had to make sure, because she’s as big as it gets and it’s a big undertaking. It’s not like you date someone for a few weeks and then you’re like, ‘Oh, OK, bye.’”

It’s pretty obvious that anyone entering a relationship with Selena knows exactly what they’re getting into since she’s such a well-known celebrity.

However, her level of fame and notoriety almost spooked Benny at the beginning!

He went on to say, “It started becoming such a hard thing, because it was like, ‘I don’t want to just have dinner inside with you and have all of our dates inside and we’re wearing a mask the entire date, and then we have to go hide in a car.’”

On another point in the interview, Benny confirmed with the entire world that his feelings for Selena have always been pure, true, and genuine.

Even though they were having some doubts at the beginning of their love story, he ultimately knew he wanted to end up with her forever.

He made that sentiment known when he said, “I was so sure that I was gonna marry her. I just knew. It’s just a very different feeling.”
