Let’s not mince words… Dan wrote that he and Blair had sex in his book – and it led to some chaos in Blair’s life.

It was actually one of the more messed up things Dan did, especially knowing he and Blair hadn’t actually gone that far when he was writing his pages.

Dan’s written depiction of Blair was… questionable

It’s no secret that tons of fans wanted Dan and Blair to end up together when the show finally came to an end.

Dan took it to the extreme, though, when he wrote his book Inside.

Within the novel, Dan talked about everyone on the Upper East Side and what life was really like.

When he got to the Blair section of the novel, he talked about the pair having sex.

The problem here is that Blair and Dan hadn’t had sex at that point.

Blair was absolutely furious at Dan, rightfully so.

Dan made Blair out to be someone who would hook up with him after Blair spent years cultivating a certain image of herself.

He betrayed Blair’s trust and showed all that he saw Blair as, no more than just someone he continued to fantasize over.

Dan could never release the crush or move past the admiration he had for her, even by the end of the show.

There’s a strong case to be made that Dan settled in his relationship with Serena, after doing everything he could to get Blair, but to no avail.
