Break ups suck duh!!

Especially if you thought they were your soulmate, we understand that feeling of wanting to lock yourself up in your room and never show face again.

And we are not trying to be mean by telling you to show gratitude for a breakup, quite the opposite.

Break-ups require grieving but also something else we aren’t willing to feel at that time.

A shift in perspective so we can heal.

But how do we give gratitude when our hearts are shattered?

Allow the emotions to co exists alongside gratitude

We don’t want you to mask your anger and sadness with gratitude.

Contrary to that we want you to allow them to exist simultaneously.

You can be grateful for having experienced love “assuming it wasn’t toxic” and still be sad.

You could be grateful for having left a “toxic relationship” and still grieve it.

Commemorate the good

Some may argue that remembering all the good things that you experienced in a previous relationship only hurts more.

But before we close that chapter it’s okay to be grateful for all the moments of joy a partner brought you .

In fact, you can write it down alongside what didn’t work.

Celebrate your resilience

We want you to show gratitude for your resilience right when you are crying in your pillow.

You are strong for going through these painful emotions, and after a while, you will emerge resilient.

A new found hope

Some loves are there to teach us how to love and how to exit.

Think after some time what the world has for you.

A better kind of love?
