Is the Hollywood industry the perfect place for Katy Perry, beyond music studios?

Snagging movie roles is another cool way Katy’s made herself richer with her 350 million dollar net worth.

Documentaries and voice acting have been great for her. Here’s what you should know.

Deets about Katy Perry’s movie history

Like most musicians, Katy has found herself on the big screen more than once.

Most of the time, it’s in a cameo role of some sort or a concert that’s been turned into a movie.

However, one of the few times Katy has had a role that wasn’t herself was in the first two “Smurfs” movies.

She voiced the role of Smurfette. That’s not the only time fans have seen Katy in a movie.

She headlined the halftime show of Super Bowl XLIX, giving fans one of the most memorable shows in history.

Unlike performers in the past, Katy and her crew filmed the build-up to the show and released it as a documentary titled “Katy Perry: Making of the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show.”

This came on the heels of her concert film, “Katy Perry: The Prismatic World Tour.”

“Katy Perry: Part of Me” is arguably her best documentary ever since she showcased her vulnerable side during her divorce from Russell Brand.

Katy clearly feels comfortable playing herself in cameo roles, which she can make a decent amount of money doing.

She hasn’t given any signs of a desire to continue acting on a serious note, but she will likely still be on screen at various times during a multitude of shows.
