If I had to narrow down all of Lana Del Rey’s songs to pick five anthems that could belong on a playlist for bedroom intimacy and hooking up, these are the top five songs I would choose.
Lust For Life
Starting off strong with “Lust for Life.” Lana sings this song as a collaboration with the Weeknd, and in the lyrics, she repeatedly sings, “take off all your clothes,” and “ a Lust for Life keeps us alive.”
Body Electric
Next up would be “Body Electric,” which is a song Lana released in 2012 with lyrics that say, “We get down every Friday night, dancing and grinding in the pale moonlight” as she sings about the electricity she feels in her body when she’s with the man she loves.
F-ed My Way Up to the Top
The next song is “F-ed My Way Up to the Top” and the title of the song should be pretty self-explanatory. Lana literally uses this song to sing about how she used her beauty, her feminine wiles, and her physical appeal to sleep her way to the top to become successful.
Gods & Monsters
Next song is “Gods & Monsters.” This song is extremely underrated and deserves way more attention. In the song, lotta things, “In the land of gods and monsters, I was an angel, looking to get F-ed hard.” How much more explicit can she get?
Freak
And obviously in first place is going to be “Freak” by Lana, which came out in 2015. In the song, Lana sings, “Baby if you wanna leave come to California, be a freak like me too.” The actual melody and beat of this song are what make it so intensely perfect for a bedroom playlist.
