Selena has always been an advocate for LGBTQ rights, and she took that a step further with the romantic storyline she agreed to portray in episodes of Only Murders in the Building.

There are plenty of people who don’t support LGBTQ rights for their own close-minded reasons. Selena does not happen to be one of those people, though.

She believes everyone deserves to love who they want to love on this planet.

She’s donated to causes that support the LGBTQ community over the years and she even wrote an open letter during Pride Month to share positive experience experiences about the ways that she’s been influenced by LGBTQ individuals.

She plays the role of Mabel in Only Murders in the Building, and her character has a romantic connection with another woman played by Cara Delevingne.

The arc was a bit shocking to some fans at first, but it just served as another indication of Selena‘s true support of the LGBTQ community.

She clapped back against haters who don’t think LGBTQ people shouldn’t have rights by agreeing to play such a dynamic role.
