Taylor earned good money on her Eras Tour movie

The Eras Tour was one of the biggest music events in history. As of May 2024, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour pulled in more than $261.6 million worldwide.

It is the highest-grossing concert film of all time. 

Rather than just performing songs from one or two albums, Taylor put on a show that took fans through her early country days until the present moment.

Tickets for the show went for a healthy amount of money, as Swifties were quick to purchase them at any price.

This meant that there were tons of fans who were left in the dust and unable to watch her live.

Rather than do nothing for those who couldn’t see her in person, Taylor and her crew filmed one of her shows in Los Angeles.

It was turned into a movie/documentary titled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.

When all was said and done, the movie brought in more than $260 million dollars.

It was the highest-grossing concert movie in history.

Even Swifties who had been to the show in person wanted to relive the magical night and saw the film in theaters.

Taylor will always make residuals off the movie.

While it might not always be the $260 million it originally generated, she can always rest knowing her rowdy fanbase will stream the movie whenever it’s on their hearts and minds to do so.
