Many people would assume that the “social media capital” of America would be California.

That’s because so many social media influencers currently live in Cali as we speak.

But according to Vidpros, California actually isn’t the social media capital of the USA.

Pulling a score of 87.3 out of 100, Hawaii lands in the top spot for being a social media capital of the United States.

Since there are so many blissful and beautiful backdrops in Hawaii, this makes a lot of sense to us.

The most shocking start to come from the study is that Wyoming lands in second place with the score of 86.8 out of 100.

Who would’ve thought that Wyoming would rank so well?

Check out the rest of the top 10 list below:

Michael Holmes, founder of Vidpros has commented on the findings, “The impact social media has on both our culture and everyday life should not be underestimated. This was proven by the outrage that occurred not just in the states, but in the world, over the ban of TikTok.

“Influencers are no longer unknown, their fame rivals and often outshines ‘traditional’ celebrities.

“These states don’t just participate in the social media age, they shape it. Influencers thrive, digital marketing flourishes, and social media users can’t stop sharing snapshots of viral hotspots and aspirational lifestyles. ”
