Metro West Golf Club in Florida has been named the most exclusive booking for golfers in the country, according to leading high-tech golf apparel brand Galvin Green.   

The study scored courses based on five factors: player ratings, number of reviews, price of discounted tee times, availability of special deals, and how quickly those deals vanish.  

Each golf club was assigned a score out of 100 for booking difficulty, based on which leave most golfers frantically refreshing booking sites.

Metro West Golf Club scored 64.34 out of 100 on the booking difficulty scale. A total of 40% its discounted tee times sells out. Its 3.67 rating from more than 2,600 golfers combined with a reasonable $56.99 price tag. 

Arizona Traditions Golf Club grabbed second place with a score of 64.36 out of 100. The Arizonian venue has a 25% sellout rate while charging a steeper $66.99 for discounted rounds.  

Misty Creek Club in Florida secured the third spot with a score of 64.38. The course in Sarasota, has a player rating of 4.15 from over 1,900 reviews. Zero of its discount slots typically sell out, likely due to its more expensive $93.49 pricing.

Green fees ranged from budget to luxury. Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, charged the highest rate at $239.99 per discounted round. Bargain hunters might target Mattawang in Belle Mead, New Jersey, which offers the cheapest experience at just $32.99 yet still ranks ninth due to its popularity. 

Higher player ratings typically meant faster-selling tee times. Bonita Fairways Golf Course in Florida scored the highest satisfaction in the top ten at 4.39 stars out of five, while keeping prices reasonable at $83.99. 

“These findings highlight what experienced golfers have long suspected – securing tee times at top courses requires planning and persistence,” said a spokesperson from Galvin Green.  

“The data shows that courses with strong reputations, as evidenced by high ratings and numerous reviews, consistently see their available slots quickly taken. 

“For golfers looking to play at these in-demand courses, booking well in advance is essential. Many of these popular venues release tee times 7-14 days ahead, and they can disappear within hours. Some golfers even set calendar reminders to secure their preferred slots the moment they become available.”
