This spike in followers followed the opening night of the Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Demi and Joe brought back the nostalgia by performing hits from the 2008 Disney Channel movie Camp Rock and its 2010 sequel, Camp Rock: The Final Jam.

Fan excitement intensified when, two days later, the Jonas Brothers appeared on Hot Ones Versus. During the episode, Joe teased a possible third installment of Camp Rock. When Nick asked his brothers to read the last entry in their Notes app aloud, Joe looked at the camera, cleared his throat, and said, “Read Camp Rock 3,” sparking widespread speculation among fans.

Ross Parkhill, CEO of Casino Days, commented on the social media surge:

“These spikes show more than just nostalgia — they highlight the enduring power of fan communities and how a single moment can drive massive engagement. Legacy acts like the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato can still dominate online attention years after their initial peak.”

The reunion and the hint of Camp Rock 3 underscore the lasting cultural impact of the early Disney era, proving that both Demi and the Jonas Brothers remain major forces in pop culture — both on stage and online.
