America’s favorite reality dating shows have been revealed in new study

  • Love Island takes the top spot, with almost 1.2 million average monthly Google searches for terms related to the show. 
  • Love Is Blind and The Bachelor rank second and third, with 695,880 and 343,162 average monthly Google searches, respectively.
  • The state that loves reality dating shows the most is New York, with 1,845 average monthly Google searches for related terms per 100,000 citizens.  

New research has revealed America’s favorite reality dating shows, with Love Island taking the top spot.  

Experts at instacams.com analyzed the average number of monthly Google searches in the US for terms related to different reality dating shows, such as ‘where to watch Love Island’ and ‘Love Is Blind cast,’ to reveal which shows are the nation’s favorites.

Love Island takes the top spot, with 1,156,606 average monthly Google searches in the US. This figure is almost double the number of searches for the show ranking second, highlighting its huge appeal in the US. The first season of Love Island UK aired in 2015, with the arrival of Love Island US in 2019.  

Love Is Blind ranks second, with an average monthly search volume of 695,880. The show’s first season premiered on Netflix in 2020.  

The Bachelor is third, with 343,162 average monthly searches for terms related to the show. This show has been around since 2002 and remains one of the nation’s favorites today.  

90 Day Fiancé comes in fourth, with a monthly average of 328,633 Google searches. The show’s first season premiered back in 2014.  

Married at First Sight is next, with an average monthly search volume of 206,945. Based on a Danish show which aired in 2013, Married at First Sight aired in the US in 2014.  

Love on the Spectrum places sixth, with an average of 193,252 monthly Google searches in the US. Love on the Spectrum Australia premiered in 2019, with the American version arriving in 2022.  

Perfect Match follows, with 151,168 average monthly searches. This newer show premiered on Netflix in 2023.  

Naked Attraction is in eighth place, with an average monthly search volume of 138,309. This UK dating show first aired in 2016 and became available in the US in 2023.  

Couples Retreat is ninth, with an average of 136,866 monthly Google searches. The first season of the show aired in 2021 in the US.  

Too Hot to Handle rounds off the top ten, with 135,393 average monthly Google searches in the US. This Netflix dating show premiered in 2020.  

The state searching for terms related to reality dating shows the most is New York, with 1,845 average monthly searches per 100,000 citizens. Closely following are Massachusetts and New Jersey, with average monthly search volumes of 1,813 and 1,788, respectively.
