Chloë married her partner, Kate Harrison, in Paris over the weekend, wearing a custom Cinderella-blue Louis Vuitton gown that immediately stole the show.
According to Google Trends, online searches for “blue wedding dress” have surged by 107% in the past seven days.
Interest has also risen 46% in the last year and 79% over the past five years, showing that colorful bridal gowns aren’t just a passing moment — they could be the next big trend.
Corey Sims, a spokesperson for CSDB, explained, “Google searches are an interesting way of evaluating current trends in the world, including the rising popularity of blue wedding dresses.
“This study indicates that blue wedding dresses could be a long-term bridal trend.”
The numbers line up with social buzz. Chloë’s Instagram post featuring her wedding gown has already pulled in nearly one million likes since September 1.
With more brides (and now celebrities) ditching white for statement colors, we might be witnessing the beginning of a bold new bridal era.
