Marc Porcar, CEO of QR Code Generator, said: “Music sits at the heart of wedding celebrations, with certain songs becoming must-plays for the perfect reception. What jumps out from these results is the blend of timeless classics and more recent hits that make up the most requested choices.

“The numbers show that upbeat, dance-focused tracks are clear winners, which makes perfect sense given they get guests of all ages onto the dance floor. In fact, half of the 10 most popular wedding songs directly reference dancing in their song title.

“The newest song to feature in the top 50 is Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club. With the song peaking at 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year and featuring on almost 8% of wedding playlists, it may prove to be a popular choice for those tying the knot this summer.”
