Something I am passionate about committing to right now is becoming my own dream girl within the next three months.

When I was single and dating before meeting my husband, my mindset was focused on becoming my future husband’s dream girl.

And that was the rhetoric I used pretty often. I was frequently in my journal writing about my goal of becoming my future husband’s dream girl.

I’m so grateful for my husband, and I’m happily married now, but I think it’s super important that I shift my focus into becoming my own dream girl. I brainstormed five steps I plan to take in my personal life to genuinely become my own dream girl, with Kylie Jenner as inspiration.

Love her or hate her, she’s drop-dead gorgeous. She’s so stunning. It’s like hard to look away from her. And she radiates a lot of confident, self-assured energy that inspires me.

Kylie Jenner is arguably everyone’s dream girl. And I’m not trying to be that, nor will I ever be. I’m grateful my husband reminds me I’m his dream girl every single day, from my skin color to my height to my bra size and beyond. But right now, I really also want to become my own dream girl.

So these are some of the ideas I brainstormed on my individual path to becoming my own dream girl.

Committing to pole fitness three times weekly

One way I plan to become my own dream girl within the next three months is committing to pole fitness dance classes three times per week minimum.

I used to go five or six nights a week, but the schedule at my pole fitness studio has moved around a bunch of times, and there’s been a lot of transitions with pole dancing instructors since I first signed up. But I know for a fact I can commit to at least three classes a week at the bare minimum, so I can truly start becoming my own dream girl sooner rather than later within the next three months.

According to my research, Kylie Jenner works out a minimum of three times per week, and that’s according to news reports. But before that, Women’s Health published that she hits one or two workouts a week. Regardless, I think a minimum of three workouts a week is good for me personally.

I read that Kylie likes doing outdoor workouts because she enjoys being in nature, but she’s also into Pilates, cardio, weightlifting, running on the treadmill, and a few other things.

For me, the only workout I’ve ever looked forward to was pole dancing. I also enjoy Pilates and yoga, and I’m getting certified to become a yoga instructor as we speak. But pole dancing, a.k.a. pole fitness, definitely has my heart, and it’s the only workout I’ve ever truly looked forward to.

So I’ll be committing to at least three classes minimum per week within the next three months.

Aggressively maintaining my beauty routine

I plan to become my own dream girl within the next three months by aggressively maintaining my beauty routine and keeping up with it consistently for the first time in my life.

Because historically speaking, I don’t always keep up with my routine when it comes to skincare, hair care, nail care, and supplements. I sometimes go on a really great streak of consistency for like a week, and then I fall off the bandwagon.

But within the next three months, I really want to lock in with my skincare, hair care, nail care, and supplements.

If I think of Kylie’s beauty routines as inspiration, it’s pretty obvious she keeps up with all her regimens because her skin is really clear, her hair is really healthy, and I’m not so sure about her nails because she always has acrylics, but she generally looks really gorgeous. She’s also promoted different supplements over the years as well.

For me personally, my skincare routine includes washing my face with cleanser in the shower and doing at least one face mask per week.

My hair care routine includes combing out my hair and braiding it up with deep conditioner before bed every night. I often forget to fall asleep with my silk bonnet on, but that’s super important for people with all hair textures, but specifically my hair texture as a Black woman. I get really forgetful about that, so I wanna aim to fall asleep with my silk bonnet at least two or three times a week.

And I’m also going to add one deep-conditioning heating cap session per week as well.

As far as nail care goes, I am taking a break from acrylic nails and press-on nails. And I finally got to a place where I’ve grown out my natural nails for the first time in a really long time. So I’m really just painting them with gel polish over the next three months and avoiding acrylic products entirely.

And when it comes to supplements, I do have a hormonal imbalance called PCOS, so I’ll be taking Ashwagandha gummies, berberine gummies, myo-inositol, and vitamin D to help balance me out more.

I can be super forgetful about taking my supplements, so for the next three months, I’m committing to taking at least one or
