No one owes anyone an explanation about their sexuality, who they are attracted to, or who they choose to love. That being said, it’s still incredibly cool when celebs speak out about this subject because they are telling the world that they are proud to be who they are! It’s awesome that society has become more accepting of the LGBTQ community, but there is still so much more that can improve.
Here are some celebs who have openly dated both guys and girls (or made a statement about their dating preferences.) These celebs are not all strictly bisexual. Some are pansexual and some don’t have any label at all.
Lili Reinhart
“Although I’ve never announced it publicly before, I am a proud bisexual woman.” – Lili Reinhart (Harper’s Bazaar.)
Miley Cyrus
“I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me.” – Miley Cyrus (Paper Magazine.)
Ashley Benson
Ashley Benson never made a public statement about being bisexual, pansexual, or anything else. She publicly dated Cara Delevigne before dating G-Eazy.
Halsey
“I’m a young, bisexual woman, and I’ve spent a large part of my life trying to validate myself — to my friends, to my family, to myself — trying to prove that who I love and how I feel is not a phase; it’s not part of some confusion that’s going to change or could be manipulated.” – Halsey (People.)
Cara Delevingne
“I always will remain, I think, pansexual. However one defines themselves, whether it’s ‘they’ or ‘he’ or ‘she,’ I fall in love with the person — and that’s that. I’m attracted to the person.” – Cara Delevingne (Variety.)
Tana Mongeau
“I’m proud to say I will live my life based on loving people not for their gender but their soul. some people call that pansexuality, everyone calls me bi, I personally don’t find a need to label it all.. love and sexuality is genderless to me.” – Tana Mongeau (Instagram.)
Bella Thorne
“I’m actually a pansexual, and I didn’t know that. Doesn’t have to be a girl, or a guy, or … you know, a he, a she, a this, or that. It’s literally, you like personality, like you just like a being.” Bella Thorne (CNN.)
Megan Fox
“I think people are born bisexual and they make subconscious choices based on the pressures of society. I have no question in my mind about being bisexual.” – Megan Fox (Marie Claire.)
Lady Gaga
“You know what? It’s not a lie that I am bisexual and I like women, and anyone that wants to twist this into ‘she says she’s bisexual for marketing,’ this is a fucking lie. This is who I am and who I have always been” – Lady Gaga (HuffPost.)
Francesca Farago
During her time on Too Hot to Handle, Francesca kissed Haley Cureton but she also started dating Harry Jowsey. Other people she’s dated since then include Tana Mongeau, Jef Holm, Jersey Shore‘s Vinny, Casey Boonstra, and Diplo.
Kehlani
“I wouldn’t even necessarily say I’m bisexual—I like who I like. I’ve dated both men and women. Sex is biological, but gender is mental. I’ve been with people who aren’t what they’re born into. You fall in love with a person’s mind, you fall in love with a person’s soul, not with whatever’s down there.” – Kehlani (Complex.)
Demi Lovato
“I’m still figuring [my sexuality] out. I didn’t officially tell my parents that I saw myself ending up possibly with a woman until 2017. It was actually emotional but really beautiful. – Demi Lovato (Seventeen.)
