TikToker @Travelingwithjoce shared a video documenting her fair share of travel warnings that you might want to think about before your next trip.
These are some of her best pieces of advice to take into account if you’re planning to fly somewhere overseas soon.
If you go to Cabo and don’t have strong boundaries… you might end up with a timeshare
White sand, turquoise waters, cheap tacos, and margaritas… you might get sucked into a permanent slice of it if you don’t keep strong! Avoid those timeshare salesmen before you buy a piece of paradise.
If you go to Paris and you don’t look like a local, they might laugh at you
Now this one is true! Parisians have a lot of local pride. In their fashion, in their food, in their culture…and the second you open your mouth to try to say Bonjour, they’ll spot you as a tourist right away! No fear though — enjoy your travels to this beautiful city and laugh right along with them.
If you go anywhere during flu season… you might end up getting sick
Maybe introducing masks on planes wasn’t such a bad idea, especially in flu season! Sometimes it’s easy to think that we’re made of steel, but get coughed on by the person next to you while you’re stuck in the middle seat, and that flu is hitting you too.
If you don’t sign up for an international phone plan before you go, you’re going to come back to a hefty bill.
Don’t make this mistake! Before you travel internationally, give your phone company a call and see what plans are available for you. There’s nothing worse than getting home from paradise and finding a fat bill waiting for you in your mailbox.
