One of Mexico’s largest venues where Taylor had four concerts, all shows completely SOLD OUT.
They were packed to the limit with 65,000 people each. Maybe Foro Sol ain’t big enough… at least not for Taylor’s Eras Tour!
Taylor posted this to Instagram: “After years of wanting to play in Mexico City, just got to play four of the most unforgettable shows for the most beautiful and generous fans.
“Feeling so grateful for the memories we’re making together on this tour … TE AMO.”
She added a Mexican flag emoji.
Taylor sang “Cornelia Street” for the first time on her third night.
The surprising song was her way of showing appreciation to her fans who have waited for more than 10 years for this concert to happen.
According to NBC News and plenty of TikTok videos, an unofficial “merch market” sold posters of Taylor as the Virgin Mary.
Other T-shirts and sweatshirts displayed the singer in all her glory.
Fans keeping up with Taylor’s show online hyped the artsy designs and joyful spirit of the market.
Videos on social media show that Mexican vendors were creative with street food signs saying, “Taymalez” as in Tamales.
They also sold friendship bracelets customized with inscriptions like “Taynochtitlan,” a play on the name of the Aztec Empire’s former capital.
