Name changes aren’t the end of the world!
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson welcomed their son in July 2022. The ex-Hollywood couple also share a daughter named True Thompson, age 5.
It seems like The Kar-Jenners are always leaning on second options, just in case they don’t feel their first name option suits their baby.
Khloe’s sister, Kylie Jenner, had a similar case with her son when she named him “Wolf.”
Days later, she began regretting her decision. Months later, she went ahead and changed it to what we now know is Aire.
Tatum Thompson is the official name

The co-founder of Good American and NBA player’s young son originally had a different last name.
California law states that new parents have the freedom to choose whether they’d like their child to have the father’s last name, mother’s last name, or both their last names.
His name was officially changed to Tatum Thompson on Thursday, People said. A Los Angeles County judge decreed it.
It’s known that the reality star’s son originally was named “Baby Kardashian.”
Whatever the parent chooses is permanent – which means that a court order would be required to change a last name.
On an episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Khloe opened up to mom Kris Jenner about her experience caring for son Tatum during his first few months.
After revealing that she had to change his formula due to a sensitivity, Khloe reflected on her challenging journey.
Fans deeply believe that Tatum’s last name was “Kardashian” due to the on-and-off nature of Khloe’s relationship with Tristan.
Feeling betrayed by him multiple times while pregnant is a valid motivator. His last name is now Thompson, though, just like his big sis.
