If you’re on the fence about whether or not you should sign up for a HOTWORX membership, the answer should be a resounding YES.
Coming from a current HOTWORX member, everything the franchise offers makes it far easier to focus on making significant lifestyle changes.
What you should know about HOTWORX
If you’re comfortable working out in a sauna room to burn extra calories and get a more intense workout, then HOTWORX is definitely for you. You’ll definitely be working up a sweat.
The virtual instructors that guide each workout (via video screen) inside each sauna room are sweet and encouraging from start to finish.
They mention the power of the mind often by reminding clients to stay positive, smile, and set personal intentions.
From a girly who loves Law of Attraction, manifestation, and continually setting mindful intentions regarding my glow-up journey, I feel like the instructors are speaking my language.
The workout options include Hot Yoga, Hot Pilates, Hot Bar None, Hot Bands, Hot Core, Hot Buns, Hot Warrior, and Hot Iso.
If you haven’t heard of some of these names, you’re not alone. HOTWORX does an excellent job explaining what each workout entails before you get started.
The intense interval training workouts are Hot Cycle, Hot Thunder, and Hot Blast.
When you’re ready to select which class you want, you can easily book a time slot through the app. It’s super easy to manage!
There are HOTWORX locations all over the place including California, Colorado, Alabama, Nevada, and Florida.
When you check out their website, search your ZIP Code to find the studio closest to you.
HOTWORX memberships cost $59/month. In other words, if you go to 20 sessions within a month, each session comes out to like $3 bucks. Absolutely worth it.
How can you prepare for a HOTWORX session?
To make sure your HOTWORX session benefits you in all the right ways, one of the most important things is staying hydrated.
Having enough water available before, during, and after your workout is an absolute must.
One of the things I personally love doing is starting each session with a frozen washcloth on hand.
I douse a washcloth in water, freeze it, and then take the frozen washcloth with me to my session.
As I’m working out, the washcloth melts on my face, neck, and chest. It helps me stay cool the entire time.
It’s also important to remember your Apple Watch or Fitbit while you’re working out. Seeing how many calories you burn at HOTWORX is one of the best ways to stay motivated.
I learned that turning the heat down during my sessions is best for me individually, but members have the freedom to adjust the heat to whatever level they prefer.
Having 24-hour access to the facilities is fabulous as well.
If I’m feeling motivated to get a workout in at 7 am, I can do that. If I’m feeling lazy until the evening hours creep up on me, I can book a later session also.
