Arjun Goswami took to Quora to drop some insightful travel knowledge for the world to take note of.
He’s a frequent traveler who certainly knows a thing or two about safely making his way around the world.
Traveling will be less stressful when you start implementing some of his airport tips.
Request extra food

Arjun’s first tip? He says, “Ask for Extra food if you are hungry. I have asked [the] air hostess for an extra brownie and they have never said no.”
This is a solid tip for anyone traveling on an empty stomach.
Use fragile stickers on your luggage
Arjun says, “Ensure your suitcase comes out first on the baggage carousel. When you’re at the check-in counter at your departure airport, ask the ground staff to attach a fragile sticker to your bag.
“Suitcases with these stickers are typically loaded later as a form of protection, meaning they’re the first bags to be unloaded, too. [This] has worked for me 80% of the time.”
This little hack is a lesser-known secret that will speed your process along.
Photograph your luggage
Arjun says, “Take a picture of your luggage. Click a picture of your luggage once it is through with the security check. It will help get your luggage faster.”
Dealing with missing luggage is already annoying enough. You’ll make it easier on yourself to have pics of your stuff readily available to show airport staff if necessary.
Early flights are best

Arjun says, “Book an early morning flight. Booking an early morning flight has many benefits. First, you don’t get caught in a city traffic jam. You are less likely to encounter a crowd and flight tickets are cheaper.”
Plus, it’s sort of nice to get your traveling done early on in the day so you can relax at your destination in the evening.
Always use incognito browsing
Arjun says, “Book your ticket in a hidden or ‘incognito’ browser. Airlines and travel websites track cookies and hike up prices based on a consumer’s action on the site.”
You’ll keep prices low on your airfare if they don’t know you’ve been searching for flights recently.
Stay warm
Arjun says, “Wear [or] carry a jacket. Flights tend to get very cold mid-air and a jacket can really help you to be more comfy.”
Even if the weather is warm where you’re departing or landing, a warm sweater or jacket will keep you cozy in the air.
