The Love is Blind Season 5 reunion just landed on Netflix and… wow.

There’s a lot to break down between Milton and Lydia, Izzy and Stacy, Johnie and Chris, and Aaliyah and Uche. Here’s what happened.

Milton’s family loves Lydia now

Not only does Milton’s family now seem to approve of Lydia, but the relationship between Lydia and Milton appears to be THRIVING.

When Milton’s sister and mother first met Lydia, they accused her of being scripted. They didn’t believe she was a good match for Milton.

All of that has changed with Lydia claiming she’s in contact with Milton’s mother on a regular basis.

The little video collage of Milton and Lydia’s relationship post-filming was full of cute moments and sweet clips.

Stacy’s financial fears with Izzy have always been valid

Stacy admitted she wasn’t ready to marry Izzy after learning details about his financial status. including his low credit score.

He revealed that seeing the upscale lifestyle she was living left him feeling a bit insecure since he hasn’t personally reached that level himself yet.

After Stacy rejected him at the altar, they took a year off of communication! They ran into each other again, but they still didn’t get back together.

Chris cheated on Johnie… WTF?

Johnie and Chris described the demise of their relationship on stage together, and it was depressing AF. Chris cheated on Johnie and now lives with the girl he cheated with!

Nick and Vanessa Lachey called him out for being a cheater, Johnie ended up crying, and Chris continually apologized for what he did.

I loved the relationship between Chris and Johnie, but it turns out that Chris just isn’t all that great of a dude.

Johnie and Stacy are still feuding

The drama on stage between Johnie and Stacy at the reunion looked like the barbecue… part two.

Izzy interjected during the conversation in the most annoying way ever.

The argument between Stacy and Johnie reminded me that Stacy is lovable and great whenever viewers can objectively analyze her, but Stacy turns into a massive bully whenever Johnie is around.

Aaliyah is dating someone new after Uche drama

Aaliyah asked Lydia point-blank if Lydia and Uche planned ahead of time to be on Love is Blind together. Lydia denied those accusations.

Then Aaliyah revealed that she’s in a happy healthy relationship with someone new.

Uche didn’t show up for the reunion at all.

JP is lying about his reasons for rejecting Taylor

JP has made claims that being with Taylor was too hard for him because of the cameras surrounding them – and because she wore makeup.

When Vanessa and Nick pressed him about whether or not he was attracted to Taylor by asking if he’d ever pursue her in the real world, he pretty much admitted that he doesn’t find her attractive.

This reality is bizarre, seeing as Taylor is a conventionally attractive woman who’s way out of JP’s league by typical society standards.

The good news is that JP is dating a new woman and Taylor has started dating someone else as well.
