You’ve heard it plenty of times by now. Tapping into your feminine energy can very well be the ticket to some beautiful life changes.

For women who are overly ambitious, hard-working, and always carrying loads of stress on their shoulders, the idea of tapping into feminine energy isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do.

Still, it’s completely possible. TikToker @PsychAdvice, aka Julie, shared a video explaining how to do just that. You can find her on Instagram at @julietheisofficial.

Use your feminine energy to receive good things

Julia starts her video by saying, “Do you want [your partner] to do more for you? Then stop blocking your path to receive!”

She goes on to say that women are really bad at receiving, even when it’s something we genuinely want.

Julie explains that women naturally carry shame around the notion of receiving.

She notes that many women who are dealing with this level of shame have deep-rooted trauma from childhood around not being able to trust that other people care enough to do things for you.

If you grew up feeling like it was unsafe to trust others or that it was unsafe to expect anything, then you probably grew up feeling like you’ve always had to have your own back.

Unfortunately, believing you’re always going to be forced to provide for yourself without any help from other people can lead to some serious feelings of resentment within your romantic relationships.

Julia says you solve this issue by practicing the art of receiving in your day-to-day life.

Whenever someone offers you something like a free bottle of water in a waiting room, or a helping hand with carrying something heavy at work, ALWAYS accept the help by saying, “Yes!”

Accept the help that’s coming your way, even if you’re not thirsty for water and even if you don’t actually need help carrying that heavy item.

Julia says to pay attention to the way you feel when you accept help from others.

She says to start removing the guilt and shame you have around receiving by becoming more relaxed when people offer to do things for you.

Don’t block your partner’s masculine energy from surfacing

If you’re always shutting your partner down when he offers to do something for you or buy something for you, you’re not giving him a chance to live in his masculine energy.

“When you block a man who is trying to give to you, you also block his need to want to provide for you. Meaning you’re shutting something down in him that would make him feel good,” Julie adds.

In other words, don’t block your partner from showcasing his masculine energy because you’re too uncomfortable to tap into your feminine energy when it comes to receiving things from him.

At the end of her video, Julia says, “Sometimes the very thing we desire the most, are exactly what we self-sabotage ourselves [from getting].”

Release the natural inclination to say, “No, thanks, I got it,” next time someone offers you assistance.

Keep this in mind at all times, but especially when it comes to your romantic partner.
