Hey now, hey now – Can you believe The Lizzie McGuire Movie premiered 20 years ago?
We got so close to seeing what Lizzie and her friends were up to when Disney+ announced a revival of the show before canceling it.
While we may never know where Lizzie is now, we can fortunately still find out where Hilary Duff and the cast are now.
Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire)
After starring as Lizzie McGuire, Hilary expanded her music career and has released four studio albums.
She also went on to star in other movies like A Cinderella Story, Raise Your Voice, Material Girls, and more. Most recently she starred in the Hulu show, How I Met Your Father.
Hilary married Matthew Koma in 2019 and is a mother of three children.
Adam Lamberg (David ‘Gordo’ Gordon)
Adam has stayed pretty under the radar since The Lizzie McGuire Movie. He starred in two movies, When Do We Eat? and Beautiful Loser before going to study at the University of California, Berkeley.
He’s deleted his social media channels, so it’s hard to know what he’s been up to since.
Jake Thomas (Matt McGuire)
Jake hasn’t slowed down in his acting career, going on to act in Her Only Child, Cory in the House, and Aces ‘N’ Eights. He currently co-hosts the podcast, Living Lizzie.
Ashlie Brillault (Kate Sanders)
After the success of The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Ashlie gave up acting to focus on her career and family. She earned a law degree from the University of Denver and went on to pursue a career in the field.
She’s remained private and isn’t very active on social media.
