Back pain is just the worst! Fortunately, there are a handful of yoga poses to try that can alleviate some of your discomfort.

The Simple Savasana

The Simple Savasana is also known as the corpse pose. You can do this pose yourself by lying down flat on your back with your arms and legs spread apart in comfortable positions.

When doing this, it allows your spine to release any built-up tension

The Tree Pose

Getting familiar with the tree pose can be super helpful when it comes to alleviating back pain.

You can do it by standing on one leg while the other leg is placed on your inner thigh. Do your best to remain grounded in the stands of a tree growing from the earth.

You can either bring your hands together in front of your chest or extend them over your head. This pose is all about improving your posture, alignment, and cost ability.

The Cobra Pose

The Cobra Pose is also known as the Bhujangasana by yogis all over the world.

You can accomplish this pose by lying on your stomach and lifting your chest off the ground, using your back muscles for strength.

This will allow you to create a gentle backbend that strengthens your spinal column.

The Bridge Pose

Jesse of Yogi Times says the Bridge Pose is also known as the Setu Bandhasana with its incredible benefits.

Lie down on your back and lift your hips upward to create a bridge-like arch while your shoulders and feet both stay flat on the ground.

This pose will help you strengthen your spinal muscles, improve your posture, and potentially even relieve mild anxiety you’re feeling.
