Dating app users are dealing with tons of online harassment. A survey conducted by Incogni just revealed some alarming truths.

According to Incogni, about one out of every five people who uses the internet has become victim to cyber abuse in one way or another.
This includes trolling, hate speech, and cyber bullying.
Women are more affected than men when it comes to sexual harassment at a ratio of 36% to 12%. Women also deal with more online impersonation and cyber stalking.
Searching for love online is starting to become problematic AF. 36% of dating app users in America have faced online abuse in some form as well.
This means that signing up for a dating profile on Hinge, Bumble, Tinder, Plenty of Fish, or any of the alternatives could put you in a vulnerable position.
Just because this harassment is happening online, it doesn’t take away the pain it causes.
With this knowledge in mind, it’s crucial to emotionally arm yourself and prepare yourself before signing up for dating up profiles.
Online harassment can lead to anxiety and depression. None of this should be taken lightly since it IS emotionally abusive.
