If you’re on the search for a new job right now, there are several things to consider if you want to succeed during the interview process.
Hiring managers are keeping their eyes peeled for a different red flags that will immediately make them cut you off as a candidate.
Joe Davies from FATJOE just released some solid information and advice for jobseekers everywhere.
Be your best during job interviews with these tips

According to Joe from FATJOE, you need to make sure that your appearance is on point while interviewing.
The way you look will have a direct impact on how employers will view you as they’re making decisions about hiring you.
Your clothing, your hair, your nails, your make-up, and everything else should be in order.
Joe also notes that your punctuality is crucial. If you’re even a little bit late for your interview, it’ll make you look irresponsible and unprofessional.
The best rule of thumb is to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before an interview begins. It’s better to be super early than even a minute late.
A lack of preparation is another red flag that employers are keeping an eye out for while interviewing you.
If it looks like you’ve never done any research into the company or the job you’re interviewing for, it’s not a good look for you, according to Joe.
Your résumé should be totally consistent. Joe says that if your résumé is full of inconsistencies, it looks like you’re a dishonest person.
At the very least, an inconsistent CV will make you look like you have a knack for embellishing.
If you overemphasize the importance of a job’s salary and benefits, it can make the person interviewing you feel a bit apprehensive.
Joe says this is something interviewers are looking out for. Instead, focus on mentioning what you can offer a company instead of what you can get out of the company.
Joe also notes that if you complain or gossip during your interview, it’s a massive red flag!
Employers who notice that you’re a complainer or gossip or likely won’t want anything to do with you. It’s a sign that you’ll bring drama to the workplace.
Poor communication skills is another issue Joe mentions. You should be comfortable answering questions and getting your point across without mumbling, stuttering, or repetition.
Lastly, if you don’t ask any questions at the end of your interview, it will leave the interviewer thinking that you’re not interested at all.
Joe states that without asking any questions, it’s a sign that you lack genuine interest in the role. Brainstorm a few creative questions before you go.
