There’s no reason to feel paranoid about job security unless you’re starting to notice a few problematic hints in the workplace.
According to Spencer from The Small Business Blog, there are three crucial signs to keep an eye out for that hint you’re about to get fired sometime soon.
You’re noticing less digital interactions with your superiors

According to Spencer, trouble might be on the horizon if you’ve been interacting with your superiors less than usual.
Collaborating with your management team through platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Slack is completely normal.
If fewer messages are coming to you from your superiors, there might be a problem brewing.
Some of your tasks at work have been automated

Another warning saying to watch out for is the increased automation of your job tasks.
Spencer says that if your management team has started introducing new systems and software that handle your job tasks without your help, you might be getting iced out of your position.
You’re being micromanaged and scrutinized

No one wants to deal with micromanagement in the workplace.
If you’re starting to notice that your superiors are nitpicking every single thing you do, there’s a chance they’re trying to pinpoint problems with your work ethic to come up with a good enough reason to fire you.
They might also be making your position so uncomfortable that you’ll choose to quit on your own.
What can you do if your job is on the line?
According to Spencer, the best thing you can do is communicate openly and honestly with your management team about your position at your job.
Ask for feedback about your performance if you wholeheartedly care about staying at your job.
You should also start privately job hunting for other opportunities as a way of keeping yourself protected in case you’re blindsided with a termination.
