Emotionally difficult days come along every once in a while. In some cases, they come and stick around for a while.
If that’s something you resonate with on Shadow Work Sunday, here are three reminders that will get you through it.
Other people’s opinions of you don’t define your worth or value

Your value does not decrease based on someone else’s inability to see how valuable you are.
This is an important reminder for anyone who might be second-guessing themselves right now.
A breakup, a job rejection, getting ghosted, fighting with a friend, or being abandoned by a family member are a few events that might make you question your worth.
Regardless of someone else’s opinion or carelessness, you MUST remember that your value does not decrease.
You deserve credit for trying, even if your efforts fail

Regardless of what you’re working on or working toward, you deserve credit for trying – even if the final results aren’t perfect.
Most people never even start. Most people never try at all. They let their passions pass them by out of fear that they’ll fail.
Those people are bigger failures than anyone who ever actually tried and failed.
Failure can always be turned into a learning blueprint so you know what to avoid in the future.
The pain of failure can always be transmuted into motivation to improve and succeed the next time you try.
You can treat each new morning as a clean slate

Every time God blesses with you the chance to wake up and experience a new day, you have a clean slate to work with.
The world is your oyster with your clean slate!
You might’ve f***ed up yesterday by partaking in gossip, hooking up with a jerk, or turning something in late at work.
That was yesterday. Use your brand-new morning as a clean slate to be a better version of yourself than you were yesterday.
