According to Collider, Millie opened up about Eleven saying, “Well, I’m really emotional, and I do attach myself to characters. I got the Eleven tattoo, so I always feel like there’s gonna be a sense of her with me, and I’ll always go back to her for reference. Of course, I wanna grow as an actor and as a person, but of course, that’s always gonna be my home and my root to who I was and who I am.”

She went on to say, “Eleven really shaped me into a woman and she really shaped me into the kind of actor I want to be.”

When it comes to being shaped into the kind of actor Millie always wanted to be, knowing that Eleven was part of that journey makes it much easier to respect and admire the fictional Stranger Things character from afar.

When the first season of Stranger Things premiered on Netflix, it became an instant hit and turned Millie into somewhat of an overnight success.

Since then, she’s starred in a long list of awesome roles where she’s been able to truly spread her wings.

Godzilla vs Kong, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Enola Holmes, Enola Holmes 2, and The Electric State are just some of Millie‘s newer movies worth mentioning.

She also took the lead in a 2024 adventure flick called Damsel, which premiered directly on Netflix.

The action-packed movie is a great watch for anyone who is desperately and eagerly awaiting the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.
